WHAT IS SAFE?

Nothing exemplifies unconditional love more than a dog’s love for its owner. It is this unconditional love that helped to inspire the creation of Shreiber Animal Foundation Enterprise, also known as SAFE. SAFE is a 501(c)(3) organization which supports, among other causes, education for animal welfare and cruelty prevention programs.

For many years, Gerald Shreiber, President and C.E.O. of J&J Snack Foods Corp., the parent company of Dogsters Ice Cream Style Treats for Dogs, contributes to his Foundation in appreciation of J&J Snack Foods Corp. employees. SAFE in turn contributes to and supports various philanthropic organizations such as the Pennsylvania SPCA, the Jane Goodall Institute, the Humane Society of the United States, North American Wildlife Park Foundation, Inc., PETA and several pet therapy programs.
